Ready to start your scuba diving lessons?
Register for Open Water Diver Online today. The link will open to the PADI eLearning site and you will be charged $169.00 to complete the online portion of the Open Water Course, this fee is paid directly to PADI. You will need to print your eLearning record and give it to your instructor.
Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development – including facts, principles and concepts – and dive skills including techniques and methods. PADI Open Water Diver Online uses videos, audio, graphics and reading to help you learn, plus short quizzes that let you gauge your progress, and then offers a review of anything you happen to miss. You develop dive skills during actual dives with a PADI Instructor at Swim and Scuba. By completing knowledge development online, you’re ready to meet with your instructor and start having fun in the water.
The next step is take 5 confined water pool training lessons with your instructor who will teach you how to perform the required skills and demonstrate them for you. You will then have the opportunity to try out the scuba gear in the safe environment of our heated pool and learn in a small group. The cost for the 5 pool sessions and equipment except mask fins, snorkel and log book is $250.00.
Because our facility has a pool on site we can also arrange individual and private lessons to accommodate you.
After successfully finishing the 5 pool sessions you are ready to complete your course with 4 open water dives with your Instructor and Divemasters.
If you plan on doing these dives locally the cost for the 4 open water dives with all equipment (except hood and gloves) is $200.00. However if you plan on vacationing at a diving destination we can help you arrange to take the Open Water classes on your vacation, with a PADI facility for $50.00 or you can make the arrangements on your own and we will give you the paperwork for the referral to complete your certification dives away from home.
