Linda is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Master Scuba Diver Trainer an Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer, and enjoys training professionals as well as recreational divers. She finds that Seal Team 8-year olds share the same delight of being underwater that beginning Open Water divers, Advanced and Rescue Divers and specialty divers experience, and loves spreading the joy to all ages and all levels of accomplishment. A good diver is ALWAYS learning, and she promotes continuing education for all divers!

As an enthusiastic sailor, Linda says being lured UNDER the waves was a natural progression. She learned to dive on Long Island, did her first dives in the Caribbean, and then began diving in earnest in our colder water. Her dive quest includes much Caribbean dive travel, many live-aboards (where she once earned the title of “Gorilla Diver” for diving every dive that week), Florida cave training, California kelp diving, wreck diving in the St. Lawrence, and lots of northeast diving, but her favorite underwater passion is photography.

She has had the good fortune to dive with patient people who taught her well and expanded her horizons, and enjoys returning the favor. She has been with Swim and Scuba since Scuba Steve took over the shop.
